PC Studio 1.1.2 ID3 will require to connect your PC and Samsung Metro GT-S3310. This PC suite or driver files can be Downloaded free from Samsung’s official site. It is 102MB so you need a broadband connection to download it.

I’ve posted download ling several times in the post and comments. Please check them. File size could be a problem, it’s 102MB. But if you have broadband connection then it will not take too long to download.

click on to creat a new connection,
click on to connect to internet,
click on to set up my connection manually,
connect using dial up connection,
ISP name:-AIRCEL,
phone number:-*99#,
live user name and password blank,
and click on to next,
than clck on to finish.

Samsung phone are not meant for stupid people.
idiots even try to install .sis file awwwwww. It will not work punks its meant for Symbian phones.
The phone is good. Supports various A/V formats and the sound quality is mind blowing. Plus it supports mass storage mode so that one needs no software to transfer data between phone and PC (I dont know why people need PC studio for this). Plus I can connect to Intenet using the phone as I am doing right now.
Very good handset

it is about 150-200 MB
Hand set Samsung S3310 does not support delete option in any application installed in the phone(e.g. Opera mini, Moby Explorer or else). Which is very irritating while renaming a file/folder using explorers or signing in a mail account. In these situations, any typing error leads to cancellation all the previously typed portion. you cant receive a file directly in your mmc via bluetooth. If anyone have a solution, please mail me to
for a multimedia phone, it is very good for its camera, sound quality and screen resolution. Gmap also works in this phone, but operamini 5 does not support.

As per my point of vies samsung gts 3310 is one of the best handset in indian market , really good and compatable feature ,, but internet speed is vey slow while using on handset and pc as well, so samsung people req u pls increased speed of internet , and modify your PC Studio existing version , cause on my friend mobile he is geting a spped nearabove 450 KBPS for Airtel Connection , and his handset is cheaper then me

Similar to Prabhu (Comment #26) and Shivangi (Comment #65) I too am getting a “timeout expired” error when trying to retrieve any SMSs from my phone memory. Tried it through Bluetooth as well as USB cable. But other than that it’s working fine, and is able to get the phonebook too.
Strangely, it is able to retrieve all MMSs, but only the SMSs are giving a problem. And so is “Restore/Backup” feature which gives me an error saying that phone is not supported.
I’m using New PC Studio version 1.1.2 ID3. Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated

its simple to connect mobile to internet on pc using pc suites first install the pc suite ten connect your phone using usb in pc suite you can find a option connect to internet go to settings in access point write aircelgprs for aircel mobile for vodafone vodafone gprs… if it works no problem in case it doesn’t support ask your sim customer care for access point.

Actually to connect to internet via mobile to your computer you need to update the pc suite by selecting live update because metro s3310 is a new phone and it’s drivers aren’t recognised by windows. So there are two options :-
1) Buy original pc suite from samsung mobile store, it will include a usb data cable and a updated pc suite only for rs. 400 . Buying data cables from grey market may put you in troubles due to obsolete ps suite and low speed transfer speed via usb data cable as the original one possess a high speed upto 468.06 kbps while the former on 115.2 kbps

I think I found the solution for this problem. I hope this works for everyone else also.
So I installed the PC Studio 3.2 and also made a full live update for it. It could not find my SGH-U800b. After swapping the USB-slots on the computer I realized that it had some kind of device error. So I opened the windows 7 device manager and there it was Samsung Mobile Modem with exclamation mark. It could not find the drivers I just had installed. There was a quite simple way to remove this and make the whole program function. Right click and press “properties” -> “driver” -tab -> “update driver…” -> select the “Browse my computer for driver software” -option -> now find the Samsung Pc studio and select that exact folder, if you scan the whole computer it can’t find the drivers!!! And now this should remove the exclamation mark and now you can connect to the phone. I also have the Windows XP (sp 3) compatibility mode on. But I’m not sure if it’s necessary.

After connecting the mobile with PC suite, it only detects the memory card but not the phone memory.
Noticed in Device Manager, it shows ” ? ” in front of the phone detected. [s3310]
